• Founder and Managing Director of TTC Tourism Training Cyprus.

• Visiting Professor at the University of Nicosia.

• Member of the Advisory Council of the Business School of the University of Nicosia.

• President of the Nicosia Veteran Athletic Association.

• Past-President of the UK based Institute of Hospitality (Formerly known as the Hotel and Catering International Management Association - HCIMA).

• Educated in London at Waltham Forest College, Westminster College and London Metropolitan University. Holder of Hotel and Catering Management Qualifications and the Post Graduate Qualification of the Chartered Association of Certified Accountants (ACCA) –The Certified Diploma in Accounting and Finance.

• Trained and worked in London until his return to Cyprus in 1980. Held the positions of General Manager of Luxury Hotels, Group General Manager of Hotel Companies and Executive Director of Hotel Public Limited Companies listed on the Cyprus Stock Exchange.

• Founder and Honorary Chairman of Cyprus Branch of the Institute of Hospitality.

• Elected (May 1997) the first International Councilor of the Institute of Hospitality, member of the Executive Board , Chairman of the International Committee (1997 – 1999) and Chairman of the International Ambassadors (1999 – 2002).

• Elected (May 2002) the first ever International President of the Institute of Hospitality, formerly known as the HCIMA.

• Member of the Board of Directors of the Higher Hotel Institute of Cyprus (1995 – 2005).

• Member of the Board of Directors of the State Fairs Authority of Cyprus (2003 – 2006).

• Contributed over the years as Board Member of National and International Organizations Including panel member of the European Foundation for the Accreditation of Hotel School Programmes in Europe (EFAH), member of the International Board of Advisors – ITHM, Ministry of Sri Lanka, member of the Advisory Committee for Tourism (Cyprus Tourism Organisation), member of the Advisory Committee for Hotel & Catering Education (Ministry of Education & Culture), member of Cyprus Government Committee No.19 European Union - Cyprus : Enterprise Policy - Commerce, Tourism, Co-operative.

• Published articles in Cyprus and overseas; lectured at Colleges and Universities worldwide and was guest speaker at National and International Conferences, forums and workshops.

• With valuable International experience he received prestigious distinctions and International awards.
